| 摘要 | A disscussion on the argument of mahadeva-five elements(大天五事) in BuddhismCHOI, eun-young*From a certain point in history, Arhat was separated from Buddha and became a being below Buddha and even became a subordinate concept of Bodhi-sattva as more time passed. This article reviewed the clue of this change from the incident of discussion on five elements(五事) in Buddhism. Buddha's advent to world was for the purpose of letting people attain Buddha-kaya. Gotama Siddhartha in the history became Buddha by awakening. This bring to us a question whether the difference between released body and unreleased body is only due to spiritual awakening. |
