The creative writing discipline has been introduced into China for nearly 10 years, and it is particularly urgent to promote the study of creative writing in China. At present, the study of creative writing in China focuses on the theory of disciplinary construction, and the theory based on local cultural resources is very limited. Is there a possibility of deep integration with Chinese culture though creative writing is " imported" ? The paper puts forward that Zen studies and Sinification of creative writing are very compatible. Zen can change the way of thinking in creative writing, which is reflected in the change of " separation of names" and " opposing opposites". It can also change the way of creative writing, which is reflected in the change of " outward climbing" and " concept first". Introducing Zen into the study of creative writing and " Life Zen" into the creative writing practice may provide Chinese solutions for the development of creative writing in the world.
