19世紀末馬來半島佛教寺院 地緣特徵與華僧傳承脈絡概況=Overview into the Geographical Features of Buddhist Temples in Malay Peninsula at the late 19 th Century and the Inheritance of Chinese Monk
In the past century, Fujian monks have travelled in Southeast Asia region. On the one hand they formed interpersonal connections through geographical friendship, on the other hand, the Gushan monks have established a network of relations. This paper takes the Fujian monk group as the observed object, and examines the relationship between geography and Dharma relationships to the formation of the Malaysian Chinese monk group and the promotion of the development of Buddhism. Through the interpersonal investigation of the monks in Fujian, we can sort out the relationship between the Chinese Buddhist circles in Malaysia. The transnational flow of monks, under the interactive image of the relationship between geography and Dharma, makes Fujian Buddhism a very influential Buddhist group in Malaysia.
