There are twenty-two texts in the Dunhuang Bianwen related to dreams, some of them aimed to promote the philosophy of dharma impermanence were analogously represented by connecting phrases related the words "dreams" such as dreamlike, illusion, are mostly Buddhist Bianwen, while the dream scenes were not included. We focus on eight texts which contains the dream scenes such as Lushan Yuangong Hua, Ye Jingneng Shi, Wu Zixu Bianwen, including thirteen different dream scenes, first of all, we analyze the four types of dream scenes in Dunhuang Bianwen, classify them into "projective genre" and "predictive genre" according to the characteristics of dream scenes, and then dissertate the meaning and application in each dream scene, finally we summarizes the characteristics of these dream scenes.
