The unique character of the immigrant CI writers in the Southern Song Dynasty is reflected in their deep introspection about life.Buddhism concept about life and emotion(dreamlike feelings,hollowness and isolation from the secular life) constitutes the foundation of their personality spirit They accepted the influence of Buddhism and absorbs its beneficial factors,and they quoted a great deal of classical Buddhism literature and Zen quotations in their composition.As a result,they solved the dilemma of whether going into the society or into hermitage in a state of isolation, and thus influenced their emotional activities, creation psychology and the subject and aesthetic features of their CI.
