By analyzing varied styles of Liu’s creation, the writer finds that Liu was good at presenting Zen state, argument, and highlighting the character’s image through comparision. Liu’s works are varied in forms and contain certain artistic quality, which are best embodied in Zen poetry, cenobian notes and Buddhist allegory.
