In the Song Dynasty confucianist group, it is no doubt that Zhuxi is the person who has more knowledge about Buddhist general knowledge. Zhuxi's cognition about Buddhist general knowledge includes the Buddhist spreading condition, Buddhist general concept and proposition, Buddhist content and feature, the relation between Buddhism and chinese local thought and so on. However, there is some misreading about Zhuxi's cognition, which deserves careful consideration for today's scholars who study Buddhism and research it, and in order to form a healthy and scientific cognitive attitude about Buddhism.
