因緣主要是原始佛教關於因果關系的論述,它不僅貫穿於整個原始佛教的教義中,而且與婆羅門教和其他沙門思潮的因果關系是相對的。原始佛教的因果關系與西方的本體論有截然的差別,但它又體現出本體論的傾向。原始佛教的本體和非本體因素是以因果關系為依託,以必然性和偶然性為輔助,以解脫為目標的精緻思想元素。 Karma is a theory of the cause and effect in Buddhism. Penetrating into the teachings of the primitive Buddhism,karma is not only antagonistic to the cause and effect theories of borobudhism(Hinduism) and other protestors,but remarkably differentiates from western theory of noumenon,while showing a tendency to it.The noumenal and non-noumenal factors of the primitive Buddhism are based on the relationship of the cause and effect,assisted by inevitability and chanciness,and to be the refined elements of thought with the target at extrication.
