該文以張九成對佛教的認知、理解和評價為話源,指出張九成的佛教觀具有雙重性,即在言道方式、生活性情方面親近佛教,而在心性、倫理方面排斥佛教。在此基礎上,文章進一步對張九成思想的歸宿和儒家學者在佛教中國化過程中的作用兩個問題進行了討論,認為張九成的思想特色是“身佛心儒”而非“陽儒陰釋”,儒家學者在佛教中國化的程度和特質兩個方面扮演了重要角色。 Based on Zhang Jiucheng' s cognition, comprehension and evaluation of Buddhism, this paper points out that there is duality in Zhang Jiucheng' s Buddhist thoughts. Furthermore, it analyzes the end-result of Zhang Jiucheng, s thoughts and the role that the Confucian scholars have played in the process of localization of Buddhism in China. As a result, the distinguishing feature of Zhang Jiucheng's thoughts is essentially Confucian and functionally Buddhist, not superficially Confucian and essentially Buddhist. It concludes that the Confucian scholars have played an important role in the localization of Buddhist in China.
