| 摘要 | 太虛大師 (1890 ~ 1947) 為中國現代史上最具影響力
的佛教改革家，佛教僧團的組織和教育的現代化，是他一生
努力的目標.
本文的探討以第二期改革運動(1914 ~ 1928) 的僧伽
改革理論為中心，針對其在普陀山閉關期間 (1914 ~ 1917)
的主著作《整理僧伽制度論》，追溯其撰述的時代背景和
書中理論建構的思想內涵.
本文分四大部份，除第四部份結論外，第一部份探討
其赴普陀山閉關前的困境，指出其在初期改革運動遺留的課
題，佛教組織的改革困境和建構思想的必要性. 第二部份則
分析其在普陀山閉關的生活與撰述狀況. 第三部份是針對《
整理僧伽制度論》，探討其理論體系的複雜性，寫作動機，
理論架構與功能，並提出對此理論的批評.
本文肯定太虛大師的僧伽改革理論，是規模宏遠，具
開創性的思想內涵，也是中國佛教史罕見的烏托邦構思，值
得加以重視.
Master Ta-hsiu，the most influential Buddhism
reformer in recent Chinese history (1890 ~ 1947),
devoted his whole life to the course of
modernization of Buddhist Hierarchy and Education.
This thesis is, based on the reformationary
theory of Buddhist Hierarchy in the second
reformationary movement (1914 ~ 1928) and leveled
at the main writing Regulation of the Theory of the
System of Buddhist Hierarchy during his isolation at
Mount Puto，to deal with the background of his times
and his thinking theme.
This article is divided into four main parts.
Besides the fourth part of conclusion，the first
part of it is to deal with his adversity before his
isolation at Mount Puto，pointing out the remaining
problems during his early reformationary movement,
as well as the adversity and the necessity of
reformation of Buddhism system and thoughts. The
second part of the thesis is to analyze his life and
his writing condition during his isolation at Mount
Puto. The third part is to explore，aimed at
Regulation of the Theory of the System of Buddhist
Hierarchy，the complexity of theoretical system，the
motive of writing，the framework and function of the
theory，and the criticism of the theory.
This thesis affirms the Master Ta-hsiu's
reformationary theory of Buddhist Hierarchy，on a
profound scale and with inventive thinking，also
considered to be the rare Utopianism in the history
of Buddhism worthy to be highly appreciated. |
