Well, that's the view of Communist China. As I now look back, I can say that my effort has not been very successful in all these aspects. But I have done some things in a few fields. Since this is a sort of autobiographical sketch, I may take advantage of this occasion to tell of a few projects which I consider today as fairly successful, at least in opening up a new point of view, a new outlook, or a new approach for future workers.
