摘要We first introduce the NO-TWO state of mind and then describe the Heart Sutra. To any a person his world has only two categories:all the being-knowns and the knower. The existence of the knower should be agreed. However the knower can not be found; for if found the knower is already in the category of being-knowns and is no longer qualified as the knower. Since only two categories exist he can detach all the category of being-knows and leave the knower alone to display itself. In this case the knower without being-knowns is actually not the true knower. The most interesting is this NO-TWO state of mind when both the being-knowns and the knower are detached. This is in conformity to the statement of Diamond Sutra:"Those who can detach all the images are called Buddhas". In the NO-TWO state there are many transcendental properties such as the transcendences over time, space, all concepts of relativeness, etc.

Heart Sutra was given by the Buddha Sakyamuni, stating about how Bodhisattva Kuan-yin practises profound prajna paramitas and dissolve all miseries and sufferings. The emphasis is given on the ontological emptiness which, containing neither being-knowns nor the knower is just the NO-TWO state of mind. In this NO-TWO state there is no rising and no falling of a single thought,no five cumulations, no six-organs, no six gunas, no six senses, no twelve nidanas, no four noble truths, etc. The Buddha further claims that all the Buddhas of the past, the present and the future all achieve via the prajna paramitas their state of Buddhahood,i.e.,the NO-TWO state of mind.
