The work titled Qifo shuofa tu (Seven Buddha Sermon Lllustrations) exhibited in the Hall of Paintings of the Palace Museun is praised as a masterpiece of Yuan dynasty temple mural painting, but for various reasons, ti is now damaged in sections to varying extents demanding urgent and effective measures to preserve this endangered eork.
