When facing various suffering sensation in one's life, spiritual peace is the source to maintain one's vitality. Spiritual peace comes from firm belief or faith, and for most people, their firm belief comes from religion. We used case studies to present three terminal cancer patients with their family members taken care by clinical Buddhist chaplains. Suffering theory is Buddhist life perspective. One's most important mission is to learn Buddhist life perspective to free oneself from suffering. The way to free oneself is to enlighten various distresses and bring up one's faith and kindness, to vow and act out ṣix-pāramitā, and to develop the inner power, settle down and get on with one's pursuit as Buddha's teachings.
