This paper is an attempt to translate the Mah A kammavibha N ga Sutta ( 分別大業經 ) , which appeared in the Majjhima-Nik A ya （ 中部尼柯耶） , into Mandarin. The present article is divided into two parts, the first part is the introduction, then followed by the translation. A parallel sutta can be found in the Madhyama A gama (T 1, 706b-708c), which is basically identify with the Pali version, with minor differences only. There are two English translations for this sutta, one is by I.B. Horner in 1959, the other one is by Bhikkhu N AN amoli and Bhikkhu Bodhi in 1995. The commentary of Buddhaghosa is also referred to in the footnote when it is available.
