Buddhism except Zen in Song dynasty is extremely flourshing . After Simingzhili and other poeple ’s efforts,Tiantai sect in the early Song Dynasty has revived again.It has affected on scholar-bureaucrat in the city of capital,such as Zhao jiong,Yang yi, Xia shu etc, all of them have the close relation with it. In fact, Tiantai sect has produced more influential in Zhejiang area. Temples and monks can be seen everywhere. Tiantai monks have also a lot of works, writings and poetry.Among them, monk Zhi yuan ’ Collection at Reclusion from 34 vol. to 51 reaches more than 400 poems. Monk zun shi was also famous at that time, who was considered to be a genius poet in his childhood in Records about The Buddha, the colletion of his poems called Cai yi,or Ling yuan;the collection of his essays called Jinyuan,or Anthology of Tian zhu , both of them had been published.Monk Qie song thought that Zun shi’s writing is elegent ,like a poet. Jiang zhou prefect Xu duan fu in his preface to Zun shi’s poems considered him beyond Guan xiu and Yuan zhi in skills.Unfortunately, Zun shi’s works disappeared much. Today,only 66 gathas gathered in volume 2 of The Whole Song Poetry. The number of Tiantai monk is far more than above.Nine Monks in the early Song Dynasty belong to Tiantai sect, which historians are failing to pay attention to.Ji guang yu has been proven that Wen zhao, Xing zhao, Wei feng belong to Tiantai sect in Explorations of Nine Monks’deeds in the Early Song Dynasty .Actually,that’s not enough, the author has given another textual research about it. At present, compared to the study of Zen literature in the academic circles, scholars studying in Song Dynasty literature have not focused on the Tiantai monks and their creation enough.It is also connected with tiantai monk’s work , much of which are scattered and lost,therefore,the author hope that the academic circle pay much attention to tiantai Zong’s literature through compliting and editing scateering manuscripts. In the paper, the collection of poems come from Genre of Le bang, Records of Epiphany in Saddharmapundarika Sutra ,Legitimacy of Buddhism , Records about The time sequence. At the same time, the author refers to the current academic achievements. In order to avoiding the repetition, the author refers to the style of The Whole Song Poetry while colleting 77 newly-discovered poems .At the same time, the author tries to write a bio for them according to the existing materials and expects people know more about Tiantai monks, therefore more attention and research can be gotten. All in all, is far from the only Zen monks’ works in the Song Dynasty, the monks of Tiantai sect as a creation group can not be ignored .Their poems are important part of monks’literature in Song Dynasty and blossom out of their own unique colors .All of these should not be neglected in current academia.
