This article gives a summary of research on the original outward form of Aps aras found in Dunhuang Grottoes.Based on the former research achievement,author put forward a viewpoint that the outward forms of Apsaras are originated from well-established gestures of all sorts of Chinese drama?acrobatics?Chinese WuShu(martial arts,skills in boxing,fencing,fighting feats)?athletics and some imitating movement of fierce wild beasts and birds.Holding this point of view,the article going to enumerate further item by item to expound and prove them with a vast amount of illustrate data.
