This paper argues that the Brahmi manuscript from Kumtula Caves, now in collection of Kucha County Administrative Office for Relics, is a Sanskrit Udanavarga which has three versions: the Sarvāstivādins, the Mūla-sarvāstivādinsin and the older one. This brahmi manuscript from Kumtula in Kucha is the Mūla-sarvāstivādinsin version. It is valuable for study of Kucha Buddhist history.
