The statue of Dhue Sum Sangye in Tibetan style built in 1292 by the donation from Asha who was a Tangut people and the epigraph for the statue were discovered in the Qingyuan Mountain, Quanzhou.Another Asha was found in the Suzhou Epigraph. This paper argues that the two Ashas were not the same people through the textual anylysis. The patron of the statue, Asha, came from Lingwu. Asha and his descendants were still the officers loyal to the Yuan court from period of the Zhiyuan to the end of the Yuan.
