The present paper is a further discussion of comparison between Yoga-sūtra and Buddhist thoughts. In my previous article, I introduce the Yoga-sūtra of Patañjali and compare to the Buddhist Thoughts in terms of several topics. The present paper focuses on the techniques for liberation, also focuses on Yoga-sūtra-bhāṣya instead of Yogasūtra. The techniques of liberation is able to divide into three parts: the primary theory, the path, and the result. The primary theory discusses the theory of Puruṣa, the theory of momentary, and the theory of cosmology. In the path, this paper delineates comparison between the eightford noble path of Buddhism and Aṣṭāṅga Yoga of Yoga-sūtra. In the result, the meaning of vimokṣa according to Buddhism and the meaning of Kaivalya in the Yoga-sūtra are explained.
