摘要
본 연구는 그 동안 거의 활용이 안된 국립도서관본 『나옹화상어록』의 행장을 중심으로 나옹의 원에서 귀국후 다비 및 추념까지 주요 행적을 재검토한 것이다. 『나옹화상어록』의 판본 가운데 국립중앙도서관본에는 크게 세 부분의 내용이 추가되어 실려 있는데, 다른 판본에서는 찾아지지 않는 내용이다. 즉, 국립도서관본 『나옹화상어록』의 행장 가운데 가장 많이 추가되어 현재까지 잘 알려지지 않은 것은 홍건적의 칩입시 나옹의 신광사 수호 사실, 공부선의 실시 부분과 신륵사에서의 나옹의 유골 다비와 회암사의 추념시 장면이다. 홍건적의 침입시 나옹이 신광사를 수호한 사실은 다른 판본 보다 자세하며, 나옹이 주맹한 공부선은 후삼국 통합 이후 그 때까지 처음으로 실시되었다고 특기하였다. 그리고 신륵사 다비와 회암사 추념시 다른 판본에서는 찾아지지 않는 승려와 신도들이 찾아진다. 이렇듯 국립도 서관본의 행장에서만 유일하거나 더 상세하게 실려 있다. 이러한 내용은 나옹의 행적에 필히 추가되어 이해해야 될 중요한 사실이다.
This study, focusing on the edition of Monk Naong’s biography in the National Library of Korea, which has been rarely utilized, is a reexamination of Monk Naong’s activities, including the Buddhist funeral and memorial services for him after his entering Korea. There are many different editions of the Naong Hwasangeorok, but in most cases, their contents are quite similar. However, three sections are added in the version of the National Library of Korea. I would say that the compilation and editorial opinion of the book are based on the fact that its material value is very important. It is important to note that it is not found in the other editions of the book. In this paper, added the most into the contents of the National Library of Korea's edition of the Naong Hwasangeorok, verily concrete is the fact that during the Red Turban invasions of Goryeo, Naong protected the Shinkwangsa Temple, in addition to his practice of the Gongbuseon and the scenes of Naong's Buddhist funeral at the Heoamsa Temple. This fact is very important. It is because it is found only in the National Library version.
