摘要 | Physis and Dharma are fundamental concepts in Greek philosophy and Indian thought. They have common meanings to be a 'essence' as inherent law and a 'event' as unfolding process. Essence of things comprised in physis and dharma is transformed into substantiality as isolation and dissolution, as soon as 12 āyatanas having interdependent relations differentiate into 75 dharmas having substantial relations, and the whole beings as self-revelation specialize into the natural things(physei onta) as utility objects. But dharma-dhātu to have a inherent nature as interdependent emptiness and Ding-Welt to have a real essence as a-letheian interconnection regard every things as mutual reflective complexity not as isolated substantiality, and aim for a world to admit peculiarity as well as totality. The interconnective togetherness thought of physis and the undifferentiated nonduality thought of dharma are realized by the negation of the substance(Seiendheit, svabhāva) thought. For this reason those thoughts become efficient alternative to thought of domination and attachment based on the substantiality. And it is in the Buddhist conception of nature as dharma that an ecological insight to see the relation between human and nature as the inter-dependence and the inter-respect is implied. |
