This thesis is an introduction to the book “The Four Hundred years of the Critical Thoughts on the Modern East Asia Zen Buddhism－－－－The Local Point of View of Taiwan on the Research and Development by Sythetic Interpretation “The key point of this thesis is to expose briefly how the original idea had been formed. Recently due to the recommendation of prof.Lin Zhen Guo ( the prof. of Zhen Zhi University), I presented the manuscript of this book to be criticized by prof.石井公成Ishii Kosei. The prof.石井公成Ishii Kosei who is the authority in this scholar field, and has an occupation in 駒澤Komazawa daigaku University. After communicated many times by mail, Prof.石井公成Ishii Kosei pointed out that even though he is the only one prof. who experts in this field but his study is simply restricted to the contents of the Japanese Zen Buddhism. Therefor the author of this thesis believe that this book is a creative new work in this field of East Asia Zen Buddhism. Is this book mature or not, it depends on the verification by the academic circles.
