The purpose of this study is to explore the feasibility of integrating the Jesus church and the traditional temple to host a festival in order to enhance local tourism benefits in terms of cross-boundary cooperation. The research method uses the semi-structured in-depth interviews for data collection and analysis. A total of 6 participants include: church pastor, church elder, church believer, temple official, temple director, and temple believer. The main findings include: (1) there is still a clear boundary between different religious groups for cooperation of hosting festivals; (2) the involvement of local governments will contribute to the practice of cross-boundary cooperation; (3) for local governments to lead cross-religious activities, starting from a non-religious preference, it is beneficial to community participation.
