First Saṅgha Law; King Rāma I; Three Seals Law Code
摘要
This article presents the first complete translation into English of the First Saṅgha Law (Kot phrasong 1) issued by King Rāma I in CE 1782. This First Law together with the subsequently released nine Saṅgha Laws became part of the Three Seals Law Code (Kotmai tra sam duang), the great compendium of Siamese law.
