The following is a selected list of Japanese books on Buddhism published in 2021. Like similar lists that have appeared in earlier volumes of this journal, I have compiled what follows using the collection of Buddhist books at the Otani University Library. As always, I have refrained from including Dharma talks and catalogues of museum exhibitions. Concerning the English titles, if an English title was provided in the book, I have used it. However, because such cases were rare, in most cases I have taken the liberty of creating English translations of the titles myself. The comments all reflect my own views, and I take responsibility for any errors.
