Chinese Buddhist music was created by Buddhist monks who combined the wisdom of Buddhism and the essence of music from different cultures and regions worldwide. Buddhist music went through various stages of continuous absorption, fermentation, and refinement, and was finally transformed into masterpieces in music. Due to human and natural disasters and difficult times for Buddhists, Buddhist music creation was severely hampered on several occasions in history. It was not until 1930s that Master Hong Yi (1880-1942) again started teaching poetry music, preaching Buddhism, and extolling the spirit of Buddhism. The door of Buddhist music was thus opened. In this research, we discuss the joint Buddhist music works by Master Buddhist.
