세친의 삼성과 원효의 각·불각의 논리적 구조 비교 - 『삼성론』과 『기신론소』를 중심으로=Comparison of the logical structure between Trisvabhava in Trisvabhavanirdesa of Vasubandhu and the phenomena of vijnana in The Awakening of Faith and of Wonhyo’s commentaries
본고는 세친의 『三性論(Trisvabhavanirdesa)』의 전체 번역과 분석을 기본으로 한다. 『삼성론』은 총 38偈로 구성된 짧은 논서이고, 그의 말년에 저술된 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 유식 삼성설에 대한 그의 최종적 견해가 집약되어 있다. 논서의 구성은 전체적으로 삼성의 용어의 나열에서부터 시작하여 無上覺의 증득까지를 본고의 차례와 같은 순서로 서술하고 있다. 한편 본고의 각 절의 말미에서 세친의 삼성설을 원효의 『기신론소』의 사상적 맥락과 비교 검토하는 실험을 시도한다. 그러나 삼성설과 심생멸문은 식전변을 각각 현행식과 잠재식의 레벨에서 취급하고 있다는 점을 본고의 실험은 숙지하고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 본고의 실험은 원효 사상을 연구하는 데 있어, 그의 저작을 중심이 아니라, 『삼성론』이라는 ‘삼성설의 총체’와 『기신론소』의 ‘심생멸문론’을 비교하는 것에 의해서 양자가 대승불교로서 철학적 사유를 얼마만큼 공유하는가를 가늠해 볼 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본고는 각 장의 절마다 『삼성론』을 분석한 후에, 그것을 『기신론소』에 대한 선행 연구들을 기반으로 심생멸문에서의 阿棃耶識을 기반으로 하는 각과 불각의 논리적 구조를 비교 검토하는 형식으로 논지를 구성한다.
The main topic of the paper is on Vasubandhu’s Trisvabhavanirdesa (Tsn). The text is made up 38 karika-s. This is on the shortest texts estimated at written in his later period. The structure of the texts is a shapely appearance, starting with enumerating of the three terminologies of trisvabhava and ending with describing of uttaram bodhi. The full translation into Korean from Sanskrit and my analysis on the content are the main stream in this paper. I try to carry out an experiment to write some similarities and dissimilarities in terms of the theoretical structure between traisvabhava in Tsn and the phenomena of vijnana (or citta) 心生滅 in The Awakening of Faith with Wonhyo’s Commentaries in each subchapter of the paper. The attempt in the research is supposed to an interested idea on the studies of Wonhy, because Tsn that is the full theory on traisvabhava written by Vasubandhu, is compared with and analyzed from the theory of One Miind 一心 in the Awakening of Faith and of Wonhyo’s commentaries.
