동학 劍舞의 영성적 측면에 대한 연구: 창작 용담검무와 동학 관련 일차 문헌을 중심으로=A Study on the Spiritual Aspect of Donghak Sword Dance Focused on the primary literature related to creation Yongdam sword dance and Donghak
본 논문은 동학 검무의 영성적 측면에 대한 연구이다. 본 연구에서는 선행연 구로 발표된 장효선의 용담검무를 창작 용담검무로 명명하고 그 가치와 한계 를 서술하였다. 또한 동학의 영성적 측면을 동학 검무와 「검결」이 포함된 동학 관련 일차적 문헌을 중심으로 검토해 보았다. 동학 검무의 영성적 측면은 강령, 수련성과 제의성으로 규정하여 창작 용담 검무를 살펴본 결과 상무성과 예술성을 강조하는 반면 영성적 측면은 강조되 지 않았음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 창작 용담검무는 전해 내려오는 동작이나 무 보가 없는 상태에서 만들어져 창작적 요소가 강함으로 복원이라는 말보다는 창작 또는 재현이나 계승이라는 말이 적절함을 알 수 있었다. 다음으로 우리나 라 검무의 역사적 변천과 동학 검무의 특징을 살펴보며 동학 검무에서는 제의 성이 중요한 특성임을 확인하였다. 또한 동학 검무와 관련된 문헌들에서도 강 령, 수련성과 제의성의 특성을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 동학 검무의 재현과 계승을 위한 제언으로써 박길수의 제언을 소개하며 본 연구자의 제언을 소개하였고 동학검무의 재현과 계승을 위한 노 력으로 본 연구자의 사례를 소개하였다.
This thesis is a study on the spiritual aspect of Donghak sword dance. In this study, Jang Hyo-seon's Yongdam Sword Dance, which was published as a previous study, was named as creation Yongdam Sword Dance, and its value and limitations were described. In addition, the spiritual aspect of Donghak was reviewed with a focus on the primary literature related to Donghak, which contains Donghak Geommu and 'Geomgyeol'. The spiritual aspect of Donghak sword dance was defined as the Gangnyeong, training, and ceremonial nature. In addition, it was found that the word "creation or representation and succession" is more appropriate than the word "restoration" as the word "creation Yongdam sword dance" was created without any handed down movements or moves, and the creative elements are strong. Next, by examining the historical change of Korean sword dance and characteristics of Donghak sword dance, it was confirmed that ceremoniality is an important characteristic in Donghak sword dance. Also, in the literature related to Donghak sword dance, the characteristics of the discipline, training, and ritual were confirmed. Finally, as a suggestion for the representation and succession of Donghak sword dance, Park Gil-soo's suggestion was introduced, and the researcher's suggestion was introduced.
