| Abstract | 由於佛教東傳 ,我國兩晉南北朝時期之史書以僧人傳記最為發達 ,見之著錄者凡數十種之多 ,但後來大多散佚。梁代慧皎所撰《高僧傳》是目前完整保留下來的我國最早的一部僧傳 ,因此它不僅是研究六朝史的重要文獻 ,同時也是研究中古漢語的寶貴語料。目前通行的中華書局 1992年版《高僧傳》由湯用彤先生校點整理 ,應該說是一個較好的本子 ,但由於種種原因 ,其中仍存在不少問題 ,故有必要重新進行校理與研究。
Owing to the spread of Buddhism in China, the historical records were represented by the stories of monks in the Jin Dynasty and the Northern and Southern Dynasties. The records were as many as dozens but most of them are lost. The Biography of Great Monks written by Huijiao is the earliest one preserved, so it is not only the important material but also the precious linguistic data for the research of the Six Dynasties.
